A solution that contains a high concentration of magnesium designed to restore depleted levels of magnesium with minimum impact to the ionic ratios. Magnesium plays an important role in stabilizing the pH by interacting with calcium, a process known as 'ion-pairing'. It will be difficult to maintain the adequate levels of both calcium and alkalinity, when magnesium levels drops below 1200ppm.
